Learning Objectives: 

“A permanent resident of Canada, a refugee, or a foreign national with a permanent resident visa who has been ordered removed from Canada, may appeal to the Immigration Appeal Division (IAD) of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada.” (IRB)

In many situations well-prepared and presented appeals are the only solutions for possible remedy under the act. This is possible only if measures are taken to assess the situation, and evidence is gathered which may assist to establish appellant’s case before decision maker.

This course class may assist attendees to assess their options based on legal interpretation of the regulations applied against the applicant and to prepare appeal with solid grounds.
