Learning Objectives:

Decisions are made by CIC office(s) in Canada or at visa officers outside Canada and are based on file examination, on a case-to-case basis, while purely applying program-related policy and procedures.

If procedures and policies are not followed by the program managing officers, and if decisions are made subsequently, they can be challenged via either simple review requests or federal court reviews.

Possibility of simple review request within the visa office at the program director level or assessment for a federal court review application request a test on decision making process.

This test can be applied by the applicant or legal professional only if they know how to read and understand related policies and procedures. Policies and procedures are legally worded and cover a great amount of legislative authorities.

The TFW program category is integrated with many situations and classes of visa applications. It has its own polices and procedures which are applied during the application examination process.

This class will assist attendees to learn how to read and understand TFW-related polices and procedures for a better case foundation.
